What Happens After We Receive a Notice?

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will:

How to Submit a Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was taken down by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice. Your counter-notice should include:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed, and where it appeared before removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was in error or misidentification.
  3. Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal Court for your district (or our district if you’re outside the U.S.) and will accept service of process from the original complainant.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

We may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant files a legal action against you.
